Hot Cocoa Comic Con
Fruitland United Methodist Church will host Hot Cocoa Comic Con for its second year in Fruitland, Idaho. We are excited to host this family friendly comic con for our community! Attendees can visit local vendors, participate in fun activities, and join us at 3:00 PM for a musical performance of Popcorn Classics.
The best part? Hot cocoa will be provided to all attendees!
Hot Cocoa Comic Con is a fundraiser event for the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). Guests are invited to donate $5 at the door toward’s UMCOR’s ongoing disaster relief efforts in the United States and around the world. UMCOR is one of the top scoring relief agencies. All of their administrative costs are covered in an annual giving Sunday so that every additional dollar goes directly to benefit relief efforts. Want to be a vendor at Hot Cocoa Comic Con?
Please fill out the vendor application below.
We have 20 vendor spaces for this event. Being an older church we have tables of all different shapes and sizes, but vendors are guaranteed a space of at least 3’ x 4’ feet. Vendors are encouraged to donate $50 to UMCOR through Fruitland United Methodist Church as part of their table space.
The vendor space will closed from 3:00 - 3:45 PM for our Popcorn Classics musical performance. Vendors are encouraged to join for the performance and then return to their booths as folks do their last minute shopping.
A note about accessibility: Hot Cocoa Comic Con’s artist area is held in the church basement. Since it is an older building, there are currently no handicap accessible entrances to this space. The church is aware of the barrier this creates and we are looking to make it more accessible in the future.
A note about the use of artificial intelligence: This event celebrates God’s gifts of artistic creation and expression. Due to the environmental impacts and ethical concerns, art made using artificial intelligence is discouraged from being sold at this event.
A note about content: As this will be a family friendly event, vendors will be encouraged to bring all ages materials. Materials that might be for a more mature PG-13 audience should be labeled. Mature content is discouraged for this specific event.
Vendor notice and agreements will be sent out starting December 22.
